About Vancouver Waldorf School

Vancouver Waldorf School is an independent, non-profit Waldorf school in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver. Its grade school opened in 1971, and the school moved to its current site in 1976. It is a full member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America.

Programmes run from parent-and-tot and preschool through Kindergarten to Grade 8. Class teachers usually stay with the same class as it moves up through the grades, and specialist teaching covers French, handwork, music, eurythmy and woodwork. The school closed its high school (Grades 9 to 12) at the end of the 2025-26 year.

Fees for 2026-27, including the activity and supplies fee, range from CAD 8,850 for five-morning preschool to CAD 19,250 for Grade 8. Full-day Kindergarten is CAD 18,800. International and non-resident students pay CAD 25,250, and sibling discounts are available.
