About Crofton House School

Crofton House School is an independent day school for girls, founded in 1898 by Jessie Gordon. It has been on its 10-acre campus at West 41st Avenue in Kerrisdale since 1941, and educates more than 900 girls from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 on a single site.

The school follows the BC curriculum, with Advanced Placement courses and a wide range of electives in the Senior School. Its Ivy Compass programme on leadership and citizenship runs from JK to Grade 12. Facilities include a fine arts centre with a 330-seat theatre and a black box theatre, an athletic centre, and science and design labs.

Tuition for 2026-27 is CAD 35,300 for all grades and includes lunch, a school-issued device and AP exam fees. New students pay a CAD 5,000 entrance fee, and families not eligible for the provincial independent school grant pay an extra CAD 5,000 a year.
