With Schools: When you send an enquiry, your contact details and enquiry are shared with the school or schools you chose, so they can respond to you directly. Schools may pay us for receiving enquiries.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal processes.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Enquiries and who receives them

When you send an enquiry, we store the details you give us (your name, email, phone number, your child's age or year group and your message) and send them to the school or schools you selected, so their admissions teams can contact you. We do not pass your enquiry to any school you did not choose, and we do not sell your details to advertisers or data brokers. Schools that receive enquiries may pay us for that service.

We also send you a confirmation email. You can ask us at any time to stop sharing, correct or delete your enquiry by writing to hello@schoolvita.com.

Our own visitor statistics

We count visits with our own first-party statistics, hosted on our servers. We do not store your IP address for this: it is combined with your browser's user agent and a random value that is discarded every day to form an anonymous key, and then dropped. We record the pages you view, how long they were open, how far you scrolled, where you came from (the referring site, never its full address) and actions such as sending an enquiry or visiting a school's website. Your country comes from our network provider, not from your address.

Only if you accept cookies do we set one first-party cookie (sv_visitor, a random identifier) so we can recognise a return visit. These statistics are kept for 13 months and then deleted.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, secure server infrastructure, and regular security assessments.

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and exercise caution when sharing personal information online.
