About XCL World Academy

XCL World Academy (XWA) is a modern international school located in Yishun, serving Singapore's growing northern residential corridor. Offering both Cambridge IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme, the school caters to students from Early Childhood through to Grade 12 with a student-centred, inquiry-based approach to learning that aligns with the IB philosophy throughout all year levels.

The school benefits from recently upgraded facilities including a well-equipped science wing, an arts studio, and a dedicated early childhood centre designed around play-based learning principles. XWA's location in Yishun provides convenient access for families living in the northern towns of Sembawang, Canberra, and Admiralty — an area with a growing expatriate population as new residential developments attract international tenants.

XCL World Academy is part of the XCL Education group, which has been investing significantly in expanding and upgrading its Singapore campus. Class sizes are intentionally kept small, enabling a more personalised educational experience. The school is a solid choice for families in the north who want IB-aligned education close to home without the commute to the more central school clusters.
