About West Point Grey Academy

West Point Grey Academy is a co-educational, non-denominational independent day school for Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. It was founded in 1996 and has an 18-acre campus on the Jericho Lands in West Point Grey. It has about 930 students, with an average class size of 22.

The school follows the BC curriculum and offers 20 Advanced Placement courses. French, Spanish and Mandarin are taught from JK, outdoor education starts in Grade 3, and Grade 10 students can take a full-year wilderness programme. Facilities include a pool, two gymnasiums, a fitness centre, tennis courts and arts studios.

Tuition for 2026-27 is CAD 33,300 for all grades. New students pay a one-time entrance fee of CAD 3,500, and students from outside BC pay a CAD 4,500 surcharge.
