About Stratford Hall

Stratford Hall is a co-educational independent day school for Kindergarten to Grade 12 on Commercial Drive in East Vancouver. It was founded in 2000 and has more than 540 students.

In 2003 it became the first school in Western Canada authorised for the IB Primary Years Programme, and it has offered the full IB continuum (PYP, MYP and Diploma) since 2009. In Grades 11 and 12, students choose between the full IB Diploma and IB courses, and graduates also earn the BC Dogwood Diploma. French starts in the early years, and Spanish is added from Grade 5.

Tuition for 2026-27 is CAD 30,670 for Kindergarten to Grade 10, CAD 33,440 for Grade 11 and CAD 34,450 for Grade 12. New families pay a one-time registration fee of CAD 3,000 and an enrolment fee of CAD 9,000 for the first child. International students pay an extra CAD 10,000 and must live with a parent or guardian in the Lower Mainland.
