About Australian International School Sharjah

Australian International School (AIS) Sharjah opened in 2005 on Maliha Road as the first school in the region to offer the Australian Curriculum. It added a nursery in 2024 and now takes children from babies through to Grade 12.

Students follow the Australian Curriculum and complete their senior years with the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), with both ATAR and non-ATAR pathways. The school introduced the ASDAN programme in 2023. SPEA rated AIS Very Good in its 2022-23 review. Facilities include science labs, primary and secondary gyms, an auditorium, a library, music, drama, art and food technology rooms, a sensory room, a natural grass field and FIFA-approved football grounds opened in 2025.

For 2026-27, full-time annual tuition ranges from AED 38,077 to AED 69,129; part-time nursery places are charged separately.
