About St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School

St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School (STEPS) is one of the most respected primary schools in the greater Miami area, serving children from PreK3 through fifth grade in the heart of South Miami. As the largest PreK-5 Episcopal school in Miami, STEPS educates nearly 500 students in a nurturing faith-based environment that combines academic excellence with character formation rooted in Episcopal values.

The school's curriculum blends rigorous academics with the whole-child development philosophy of Episcopal education. Spanish language instruction, STEAM programming, performing arts, and physical education are integrated into the daily schedule from the earliest grades. Small class sizes and an experienced faculty ensure that each child receives individualized attention and develops a genuine love of learning.

STEPS is consistently recognized as one of the premier elementary schools in Miami-Dade County, drawing families from Coral Gables, Pinecrest, South Miami, and beyond. Its strong foundation in literacy, numeracy, and character preparation positions graduates exceptionally well for admission to Miami's top middle and secondary schools.
