Camden Hill Preparatory School

Camden Hill Preparatory School is a co-educational independent preparatory school located in the leafy Primrose Hill area of Camden, serving pupils aged 4 to 13. The school provides an enriched version of the English National Curriculum designed to prepare children thoroughly for entry to leading London day schools and prestigious boarding schools at 11+ and 13+.

The academic programme covers Key Stages 1 and 2 with a strong grounding in English, mathematics, and science, alongside a broad curriculum that includes history, geography, religious studies, French from Reception, art, music, drama, and physical education. In Years 5 and 6, pupils are guided through a structured programme of 11+ preparation, with practice papers, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, and interview technique coaching. The school occupies a converted Victorian townhouse with a modern rear extension, providing bright, well-proportioned classrooms, a dedicated science laboratory, an art studio with natural light, a music room, and a small library.
